King Adorn Marethal IV (deceased) - Previous king of Lograd, he was secretly slain by Galmod. Known as Orc-slayer, Adorn was thought to have completely eliminated orcs from the face of the world. Widely thought of as the most benevolent and goodly king in history, Adorn's spirit recently revealed to his friends that his secret heir is the infant son of Sibbya Dermark of Kellorville. King Adorn's lifelong dream was simply a peaceful and just kingdom of safe and goodly citizens.

Barrica Brawn - An older human male and leading citizen of Kellorville. He and Sharyna jointly chair the town council. Barrica is honest to a fault, and he is a skeptical man.The Brawn family owns the largest single herd of sheep in town. They hire many people as shepherds and general farmhands. While they are the largest business in town, the Brawns live in a simple house. Barrica and his sons, Orwin and Alec, spend most of their time herding sheep and performing chores, while Barrica’s wife Bethie and their daughter, Mara, work on spinning, weaving, and tailoring. They put up travelers for the night in their tool shed/storage barn in return for a day’s work. Boarders are given one home-cooked meal in the morning.

Beryl Thorn (deceased) - Human female, she was 29 years old with long brown hair pulled back in a braid. Beryl ran the temple to Melora in Kellorville. This temple, dedicated to the goddess of nature, is a simple wooden building with a stone foundation. Plants grow in abundance around and inside it. Beryl was a well-respected member of the community, quiet and reserved at most council meetings. Beryl never spoke rashly and always chose her words carefully. She often made day-long trips through the region, tending to local farmers and helping people any way she can. She was the closest thing to a judge in the area, and if she felt the need to try anyone for a crime, the locals would quickly endorse her. Beryl helped the Horselords slay a white dragon in the middle of the village, and afterwards fell in love with and married Sir Harrow Thorn. Beryl, along with their infant child, died during the birthing process. Ra'uf Roras' sacrifice brought the infant child back to life, but couldn't bring Beryl back.

Bhral - Dragonborn former mercenary who recently came to Kellorville and began a relationship with Fontin Dermark. Bhral's mercenary group was hired by Gor-anatar, and he helped kidnap Sibbya, but objected to the idea of slaying the party and turning Sibbya over to the Dark One. He helped fight the other mercenaries and swore an oath to protect Sibbya to repay his honor debt to her. He volunteered for the Kellorville militia. Not long afterwards, Gor-anatar Qerum murdered Bhral in a foul and gory way (similar to vivisection). Bhral gave his life defending Sibbya and her son, Adorn V. Many months later, Ra'uf Roras' sacrifice returned Bhral to life. He has since married Fontin, and continues to serve as honor guard to Sibbya and the young infant king.
Eban Jakobs - The local Kellorville tinkerer and handyman, Eban is a 44 year old human male. He is tall, a bit overweight, and has unruly brown hair and a short brown mustache. Eban is quiet and shy, and has been for all his life. He often travels and works at farms in the surrounding area. He fell in love with a maiden named Lythia, who disappeared mysteriously and then haunted Eban with prophetic dreams of dire warnings. Eban killed Lythia himself (after she was discovered to be a murderous witch), and gave his house to the party as a way of punishing himself for what he believes to be his own foolishness. Eban went back to being quiet and shy, living in the Rusty Dragon in exchange for fixing it up. Months later, Eban was returning from a fishing trip at a small lake near Kellorville when he was attacked by three trolls. He ran back to Kellorville for help and witnessed the giant statue of the Raven Queen in the town begin moving and destroy the trolls effortlessly. Realizing that the statue had strong protective magic, Eban became intrigued by the religion of the Raven Queen of Ra'uf. He now leads weekly prayer sessions near the statue to the goddess. The more he learns of his new religion, the more he feels strongly that he is fated by the goddess to stop any who would escape death or blaspheme it. In short, Eban Jakobs has been pondering forming an organization of holy warriors dedicated to putting a stop to the undead creatures wandering the wilderness now.

Falric - 20 year old human man of Kellorville. The Horselords inspired him to join the militia they formed, until one day Falric was kidnapped during his duties by gnolls and taken to a hidden base to the south. Falric was rescued by the Horselords, and after making a full recovery, has begun training to perhaps one day become a knight himself. He risked his life for Jannah in the gorge of Gauros and has been rewarded with her taking some notice of his affections.

Fontin Dermark - 20 year old human milkmaid at a farm to the south of Kellorville. Fontin had relations with Bhral and tried to keep it from the party. They broke into Fontin's home and found her letter and map from Bhral. Fontin then moved in with her cousin Sibbya to help her protect and raise Little Adorn. Eventually Fontin married Bhral.
Gregor - An older male dwarf, cleric of Bahamut and Horselord of Lograd. It is known that Gregor is very devoted to his ideas of justice and the law. Years ago his love broke the law, and Gregor saw to her being turned in and executed. Gregor was slain by the death knight Sir Aelfrey when he attempted to assassinate King Galmod. Later, Gregor was resurrected by Ra'uf Roras and reunited with his friends. The dwarf finally had the chance to help slay Galmod.

Labgum Morrel - Kellorville's 54-year-old tanner, has run off no fewer than three apprentices in the past year with his yelling and constant complaining, but his work is good. He can repair leather armor or fashion leather goods faster and better than most. He never believed in Eban's prophecies, and doesn't get along with anyone in town. He used to get along with Beryl (who put him in his place). Labgum did a lot of work for the party, though usually strangely at reduced rates.

Princess Lyra Qerum - Beautiful young female tiefling, spellcaster and daughter of King Galmod Qerum, Lyra helped the party escape a prison trap portal after they were severely weakened and had just empowered Adorn's heir. She also helped Falric return home safely to Kellorville with the party's horses. Later she led the party to Gor-anatar with magical devices stolen from her father Galmod. The party attempted to rescue her kidnapped brother Tiliero, but failed. She participated in slaying Gor-anatar with the Horselords, then participated in the Battle of Castle Lograd that ultimately resulted in the death of her last family member, her father King Galmod.

Melvar and Marilynn Mossminder - Married halflings that run the general store in Kellorville. While they mainly provide farming, fishing, and shearing supplies, most other common items can be purchased. The Mossminders are friendly and talkative, though they are extremely wealthy when compared to most of the rest of the town.
Persephone Valdoorn - A young blonde woman in Kellorville, she is daughter of Krym and object of Artemis' affection.
Reysha (deceased) - Halfling cleric of Kord and dear friend of Aelfrey, she was slain with him while trying to get justice against Galmod.

Sibbya - These young women have been born in Kellorville for generations, each having miraculous healing powers, giving birth to a fatherless child at 22, and dying in childbirth. The daughters are always named Sibbya, and the cycle continues. The current Sibbya was recently kidnapped by agents of the Dark One. She was rescued by the party and her pregnancy was successful. She lived and her child is a boy, breaking the cycle. She has not exhibited the radiant powers since that moment. It has been revealed now that the child is the rightful heir to the throne of Lograd, and he has been named Adorn V. In addition, the child has been gifted with heightened radiant powers (at the expense of the lifeforce of the knights). Little Adorn's history and powers were closely guarded secrets, until the Horselords killed the false king Galmod and restored the Marethal lineage by announcing Adorn V as the new infant king.

Sharyna Banabar - A well-to-do middle-aged businesswoman who inherited her wealth from her parents - both former adventurers. They discouraged Sharyna to follow in their footsteps and instead set up the Kellorville mill as a family business. She took to the trade well and is now the most prosperous person in town. She has three hands who work there year round, all local boys who are hard workers. One of them is a smart young man named Stanner. Sharyna not only grinds grain but also saws wood. Every summer, she hires a few nearby woodsmen to move logs downstream and cut them here. Sharyna stores most of her grain in the mill itself and will even kiln it for brewers. She is a dear friend of some of the Horselords, particularly Ra'uf.

Stanner - Though he seems more an intellectual than anything, this young human male works as a hand in the Kellorville mill for Sharyna. Stanner is deeply in love with Mara Brawn, Barrica's daughter. He has spent much time being tutored in the arcane arts by Ra'uf in order to impress the Brawns.
Tamarin Needlecrafter - Gnome tailor, saved by the party from the witches and currently dwelling in Kellorville. She lost her whole family to the witches (when her caravan was raided on the road to the north) and seems a sad soul.
Towcret - Young dragonborn female, Towcret is a very brave warrior and Horselord of Lograd. She served as the squire to Gregor and was slain by Aelfrey when she attempted to assassinate King Galmod. Ra'uf Roras resurrected her and she was reunited with her friends. She participated in the Battle of Castle Lograd, and thus helped to finally bring justice back to her kingdom.
Buren - Humble dwarven fisherman in Kellorville, Buren ferries the youth of the town back and forth across the river Kellor. He spends many late hours at the Rusty Dragon.
Dalvan Grames - A tiefling in his late twenties, Dalvan is Kellorville's only blacksmith. He concentrates on mundane chores: shoeing, making farm tools, and so forth.
Gergond - The dwarven mage who created the Warforged, among other mechanical men. He invented the motion and thought engines. His mind has splintered into madness through psychological poisoning by his first thought engine Pandora.

Grett - Former soldier whose career was ended by an encounter with a dark elf. He tells the story often, to persuade folks to buy him a pint of ale. Grett has only one leg but manages well with either his crutch or a wooden peg leg. He does most of the cooking and brewing in the Rusty Dragon, while several local youths clean and serve the tables.
Krym Valdoorn - An older human male living on his small farm in Kellorville. Krym lives alone with his daughter Persephone.

Loric Ostedler - Older half elf owner of the Rusty Dragon tavern and inn in Kellorville. Ostedler seems standoffish, cynical, intelligent, and self-interested. He does try his best to keep Kellorville exactly the same as it is, so that it will continue to facilitate his business.

Manumit - The first automated man created by Gergond, the mad mage of Margontoah. Manumit simply desires freedom and a body that is whole.
Harmon (deceased) - This man appeared in Kellorville shortly after their first battle with the Dark One, in possession of a magical stone arm that created a gold piece whenever struck against a hard surface. He gave the Horselords instruction on where to find the rest of the statue, and disappeared shortly thereafter. When he later returned, it was revealed that he had sent the players to destroy the statue, with the assumption that they would likely be killed in the process. Upon revealing this to Harrow, a dark unseen force easily tore him apart.

Sir Aelfrey the Pious - Noble eladrin paladin of Bahamut and King Adorn's spymaster, Aelfrey was tricked and captured by Galmod. His soul was trapped in his ancestral blade, and Aelfrey was bound to be an agent of Galmod. He protected Galmod from assassination by slaying half of the Horselords in Lograd personally. Years later, Sir Aelfrey seemed to have regained some measure of self control, and asserted himself enough to aid the party greatly in slaying King Galmod.

King Galmod Qerum (deceased) - Older tiefling male, former King of Lograd, kingdom of the Horselords. Galmod was a duke, head of the tiefling House Qerum, until he managed to take control of the crown through murder and deception (which was unknown amongst his subjects). Due to the ongoing orc attacks (coordinated in secret with his cousin Gor-anatar who controlled the orcs), he maintained a military stranglehold over the kingdom in the name of defense. After a few years of reining through sheer military force, Galmod was slain in his royal chambers by the returned exiled Horselords, and his own creation Sir Aelfrey the death knight.

Gor-anatar Qerum (deceased) - Tiefling male known as the Dark One or the Necromancer; powerful spellcaster. After the party interrupted his pickup of the kidnapped Sibbya the first time, Gor-anatar masqueraded as "Meruq" the human boy to get to know the party and Kellorville. When he tried kidnapping her himself soon after, he was thwarted by the party. He responded by killing half the party. They managed to wound him terribly and chase him off. The Horselords then discovered that the Dark One is behind the creation of undead, bringing back the orc threat, and the creation of a spell that can raise the dead back to life. The Dark One escaped via a hidden portal and some sort of flying mount, to some unknown locale. Months later, the party destroyed the Dark One's base of operations in the great forest and captured his emissary, Abaddon. They also discovered the Dark One's glowing red portal rune with a peculiar symbol deep in the gorge of Gauros. Lyra Qerum revealed that Gor-anatar aided his cousin Galmod in the initial deceit and coup, and later in continuing to secure the leadership of the kingdom (by coordinating orc attacks). Eventually Gor-anatar discovered that Galmod plotted to kill him, so he kidnapped Galmod's son (and his own nephew) Tiliero and sacrificed Tiliero in a failed attempt to gain immortality. The result of this botched ritual trapped Gor-anatar in his cerulean pyramid in the ruins of Neumil, where the Horselords finally tracked him down and slayed him, body and spirit. Afterwards, they discovered that Gor-anatar was merely an agent of the god Asmodeus.
Pandora (deceased) - Pandora is the first thought engine invented by Gergond. Assuming the personality of a woman, Pandora tainted her creator's mind causing madness in him. She created an elaborate plot to use her creator to make her a highly fortified body as well as an army of mechanical men and Warforged that were slaves to her. She intended to exterminate all life as to her it was considered imperfect.

King Thurgrish (deceased) - A nine foot tall orc king, slain originally by Sir Aelfrey in the northern mountains twenty two years ago. Thurgrish was brought back by the Qerums and served as Galmod's personal guardian. He was slain by the Horselords of Lograd in Galmod's chambers.

The three witches of Kellorville, Lythia, Verisia, and Elusia (deceased) - These three swamp-dwelling hags nearly annihilated the town of Kellorville and were slain by Eban Jakobs and the party from Lograd. Lythia was a mysterious maiden lover of Eban Jakobs. Her disappearance and subsequent "prophecies" in Eban's dreams have alarmed the town greatly. It turns out the three witches were merely tricking the town into leaving their homes and venturing into the wilderness. The witches were in the process of learning some sort of 'raise dead' spell from "the Dark One" and also had orcs living with and guarding them.
Sythrael - Some sort of powerful extraphysical being, Sythrael once took the form of a statue of a large, androgynous winged humanoid. The statue was brought into the floating tower of the Runelords many centuries ago, after which the tower lost its power and fell to the earth. A piece of the statue was in the possession of Harmon, the man who contacted the Horselords about finding the statue. Upon re-attaching the piece, the statue came to life, whereupon Sythrael claimed to be a god, and demanded tribute. The Horselords quickly destroyed the statue, which may have inadvertantly freed Sythrael from the bonds of a physical form. After killing Harmon, who may have been some sort of servant, Sythrael has not been heard of since.
